The Right Crew For Your Project

At MG Pictures we have different crewing options to help your production succeed and keep you on target with your budget and timeframe.


Standard Crewing Packages

MG Pictures, Crewing Options

  • Full day, 2 man crew, 10 hours portal to portal
  • 1/2 day, 2 man crew, 5 hours portal to portal
  • Full day, 1 man crew, 10 hours portal to portal
  • 1/2 day, 1 man crew, 5 hours portal to portal
  • Full day 3-person crew, 10 hours Location

DEFINITIONS

Portal to portal time

The time an MGp crew leaves a specific location (ex, office) to travel to the shoot location until the time the MGp crew arrives back to original location (ex, office).

Full day shoot

Any 10 hour portal-to-portal time period

Half day shoot

Any 5 hour portal to portal shoot ending by 12PM or starting at 12PM.
Half day shoots are kept to the noon hour / 1pm rule to allow the crew to pick up another job if the opportunity should arise.
*Any shoot crossing the noon hour is considered a full day and billed accordingly.

1 man crew

Is considered to be a camera operator/DP.

2 man crew

Is considered to be a camera operator/DP and Audio Tech or Grip.

3 man crew

Is considered to be a camera operator, Audio tech, and Grip.
